Jimmy, DJ, and Isaac are one helluva moving crew. They blazed through the move while being careful with the furniture, handled every obstacle with intelligence and patience. Had a move across country to Ohio and this company exceeded expectations. The price stayed the same as promised and the guys did a fantastic job. Also, for the first time in seven long-distance moves I had the same movers on pick up as I did delivery. Usually they go and get labor at all the other companies I’ve moved with. All three of our professional movers were highly efficient, polite, and skilled in moving our furnishings down two flights of stairs and back up one. I had a great experience! Shay and Alvin were right on time but I was late. They were very forgiving of my lateness, my not entirely organized packing. They were efficient and quick, very polite and friendly. They worked hard even though neither end of the move was air conditioned so it was HOT! They did everything they could to keep my cost to a minimum, even though I underestimated the number of boxes I had. I highly recommend this crew and the company. 1776 Moving & Storage was unbelievable. They were very professional. Jimmy was in constant contact with me to make sure that we were ready for the move and explaining the process. Once the move began, David and his crew of movers made sure that all the items being moved were protected by wrapping them in blankets or shrink wrap. The move was done efficiently and quickly but also without damaging any of our items. I would definitely recommend them whether you have a long distant move or like us a move a few blocks away

Quick to issue written quote. Online payment interface was easy. Good communication throughout the process. Scheduled quickly with a reminder of the date/time 1 day before the move. Crew showed up on-time and did a professional job. 1776 deserves my 5-star review. They run a tight ship. The cost was a bit higher than I would have liked. But I've not used movers for a long time and everything everywhere is more expensive these days. That said, I'm very pleased with the move.

First I just want to give a HUGE shout out and appreciation to Alvin and Shay!!!! They were absolutely amazing! They were so sweet, respectful, genuine, kind, down to earth and absolutely went above and beyond to help my roommate and I with our move! I could not have been more grateful for their help! We had an issue with moving our couch into our place because of how the doorway was set up and Shay and Alvin made sure we would be able to get some of our couch moved in and Shay with his quick thinking thought of a way that would usually take 4 guys total to do but they went above and beyond and did it with just the 2 of them.
