On the day of the move the movers contacted us with the arrival time and got to our house right on time. The 3 men, James, Marcus and Jerome took a look at the items we were going to move and them immediately got to work. They wrapped all the items that needed it, and packed us up quickly with no wasted time at all. They were polite and professional and handled our items carefully as if they were their own personal belongings. At the destination the truck was unloaded quickly with the items all arriving safely and undamaged. The level of service and work ethic was fantastic! There were no surprises come moving day. The 1776 mover team of David, Q and Mark were courteous, personable and were so careful with our things as if they were their own. They used the right material and tape, wrapped everything fragile, and I was SHOCKED at how well they packed and stacked the truck. 2000 sq ft home and they fit it all! At delivery, they moved quickly after assessing the new home, floor plan and even took time to lay out floor coverings for our tile and wood floors. No dings, dents or scratches. It was flawless. For starters, I have home items which require specialized tools for transport and the team knew exactly how to move my oversize, heavy items.The guys came with all the supplies necessary and did an incredible job wrapping chairs, TVs, and other easily breakable furniture.They were super respectful of both homes. Nothing was scratched or broken. The new home has a step that has a particular finish on it and I asked them to please avoid getting any footprints on the paint and they were extremely careful with loading and unloading. The guys were very polite and kind to my mom, took very, very good care of her furniture and other belongings and upon arriving at the storage unit...unloaded and organized everything into the storage unit where she could easily access anything mom needs upon future visits. Lastly, we did go over our time by an hour from the initial quote...knowing that mom was a retired senior on a fixed income (mentioned to Peggy upon initial quote contact) the final bill charged was fair and 1776 didn't look to take advantage of my mother in any way price wise.
