The most awesome moving team I’ve ever worked with! From the time we said “hi” to “bye” they worked tirelessly making sure they worked safely, wrapping the furniture, problem solving, treating my possessions as if they were there own! Jimmy, DJ, and Isaac are one helluva moving crew. They blazed through the move while being careful with the furniture, handled every obstacle with intelligence and patience. Ours was a very tough move and they made it look easy, from a 3rd floor apartment to a single family home. Our family highly recommends them, and when we move again, 1776 will be our first and only call.

Just completed a cross town move in Orlando with 1776 Moving & Storage. This is our second time moving with this company, this time with Jimmy, James & Isaac.
They were efficient, hard-working and friendly and the price was more than fair for the job. The best part about using 1776 is that you are hiring a local family owned company with a great reputation for service and patriotism. Had a move across country to Ohio and this company exceeded expectations. The price stayed the same as promised and the guys did a fantastic job. Also, for the first time in seven long-distance moves I had the same movers on pick up as I did delivery. Usually they go and get labor at all the other companies I’ve moved with. I was very impressed with this.

All three of our professional movers were highly efficient, polite, and skilled in moving our furnishings down two flights of stairs and back up one. Everything was in a perfect condition after being wrapped in quilted fabric and then plastic wrap for added protection. We would definitely recommend 1776.

I had a great experience! Shay and Alvin were right on time but I was late. They were very forgiving of my lateness, my not entirely organized packing. They were efficient and quick, very polite and friendly. They worked hard even though neither end of the move was air conditioned so it was HOT! They did everything they could to keep my cost to a minimum, even though I underestimated the number of boxes I had. I highly recommend this crew and the company. This company SAVED THE DAY for my daughter's move out of her apartment. They were super professional and kind to her during a very stressful time. Everything was handled with detail and carefully packed. When you call the company you are greeted by a friendly, helpful voice. They were very accommodating even when I requested a date change. I could not recommend this company enough!!! From the communication with Crystal at the office to the movers, Shay and Alvin! They were so patient and understanding. 1776 Moving & Storage was unbelievable. They were very professional. Jimmy was in constant contact with me to make sure that we were ready for the move and explaining the process. Once the move began, David and his crew of movers made sure that all the items being moved were protected by wrapping them in blankets or shrink wrap. The move was done efficiently and quickly but also without damaging any of our items. I would definitely recommend them whether you have a long distant move or like us a move a few blocks away

Quick to issue written quote. Online payment interface was easy. Good communication throughout the process. Scheduled quickly with a reminder of the date/time 1 day before the move. Crew showed up on-time and did a professional job. 1776 deserves my 5-star review. They run a tight ship.
The cost was a bit higher than I would have liked. But I've not used movers for a long time and everything everywhere is more expensive these days. That said, I'm very pleased with the move.

First I just want to give a HUGE shout out and appreciation to Alvin and Shay!!!! They were absolutely amazing! They were so sweet, respectful, genuine, kind, down to earth and absolutely went above and beyond to help my roommate and I with our move! I could not have been more grateful for their help! We had an issue with moving our couch into our place because of how the doorway was set up and Shay and Alvin made sure we would be able to get some of our couch moved in and Shay with his quick thinking thought of a way that would usually take 4 guys total to do but they went above and beyond and did it with just the 2 of them. My roommate and I could not thank them enough for their hard-work and going above and beyond to make sure we got a couch into our new place. This company is absolutely amazing!
